A Backyard Bridal Shower for a Beautiful Bride-to-Be
Not every shower needs a ballroom. Sometimes the most meaningful place to celebrate is right at home, in a backyard full of the people who watched the bride grow up.
This outdoor bridal shower was exactly that, and the bride-to-be looked radiant. To her and to the family who opened their home: thank you for letting us be part of such a sweet afternoon.
A draped backdrop with white flowers
For her photo moment, we hung soft dusty rose draping outdoors and framed it with lush arrangements of white flowers on tall stands. The warm color of the fabric glowed in the sunlight, and the white blooms kept it fresh and romantic. It was the perfect place for the bride to stand with her friends and family.
Tables under the umbrellas
Under white patio umbrellas, the tables were set with terracotta linens, natural wood chairs and low moss centerpieces. The earthy colors felt relaxed and elegant at the same time, like a long lunch somewhere in the countryside.
Tips for an outdoor shower
Plan for shade, since umbrellas or a tent make guests far more comfortable. Choose linens and colors that look beautiful in natural light. Weigh down anything that could catch the wind. And give the bride one clear backdrop, so all the photos have a focal point.
We style showers in backyards, restaurants, country clubs and conservatories across North Jersey and New York City. See our bridal shower décor or reach out to plan yours. Curious how setup works at home? Our FAQs explain delivery and pickup.
