A bridal shower is one of the sweetest days in the whole wedding season. It is the day the women who love the bride gather around her, before the rush of the wedding, just to celebrate her. This shower at Brooklyn Winery in Williamsburg was full of that feeling.

A floral arch and a bloom bar

Our white flower cart became a build-your-own bouquet bar under an arch of pink and coral blooms. Guests chose their favorite stems, wrapped their bouquets and took them home, so the décor doubled as a favor and an activity. If you are curious, here is everything you need to know about bloom bars.

Tables that felt like a garden

The long tables were dressed with low arrangements of roses, garden blooms and greenery in pink, coral, lavender and white. Keeping them low meant everyone could talk across the table, which at a shower is half the fun.

Designing for brick and greenery

Brooklyn Winery already has so much character, with exposed brick, wood and plants climbing the walls. We did not want to cover any of it. Bright florals softened the industrial textures and made the space feel warm, romantic and still completely Brooklyn.
