Unforgettable White Wedding Florals at The Legacy Castle in Pequannock, NJ
For years, I drove past The Legacy Castle in Pequannock and imagined what it would be like to design flowers inside it. So when calls started coming in from Legacy Castle couples, and Nicole’s was one of them, I could hardly contain my excitement. Her wedding turned that daydream into a real day.
Nicole found us online, and our first meeting felt easy from the very start. She was wonderful, and truly one of the sweetest brides I have worked with. After her wedding she wrote: “From the moment of our first consult, I knew that I could trust you with making our dream wedding become a reality.” Nicole, thank you for that trust. Here is how we brought your all-white Legacy Castle wedding flowers to life.
Beautiful, and kind to the budget
Nicole wanted her wedding to look stunning while keeping an eye on her budget, so we offered her a mix of premium silk and fresh flowers. Silk gave us the size and fullness for the big statement pieces, and fresh blooms kept that soft, natural feeling where guests would see them up close. She loved everything, and seeing her vision come to life in that room was such a joy. If you are weighing the same choice, our silk floral and candle packages are a lovely place to start.
Arrangements with real presence
A ballroom this grand needs florals that can hold their own. Tall white arrangements rose above each table, drawing the eye up toward the ceiling and filling the space without blocking anyone’s view across the table. In a big room, height is what makes guests stop in the doorway.
Candlelight and bud vases
Candelabras added sparkle and warmth, and small bud vases at the base of each centerpiece brought the flowers down to eye level. Mixing tall and low pieces is how we make a table feel layered and generous. You can find our candle design and candelabra rentals and our centerpiece rentals here.
A sweetheart table that let everyone see them
Nicole wanted her sweetheart table kept simple. She did not want the two of them hidden behind tall arrangements; she wanted everyone in the room to be able to see her and her groom. So we created a low meadow of flowers all around the table, set candles along the top and added a few touches of bud vases. It framed them beautifully without ever getting in the way. The moment the doors opened
My favorite moment came when the doors opened. Guests walked in, saw the florals and the candlelight glowing underneath them, and you could hear the wows echo across the ballroom. People took out their phones and started filming everything we had created.
But the moment that stays with me most came later in the night: Nicole and her groom dancing, every table lit up with candlelight, and their sweetheart table glowing beside them. For the girl who used to drive by this castle dreaming of the day she would dress it, it was a dream come true.
A few tips for a candlelit ballroom
If you love the look of a glowing room, plan your candles together with your flowers rather than adding them at the end. Keep the sweetheart table low if you want your guests to see you, and let the height live on the guest tables instead. And if your budget has limits, ask about mixing silk and fresh: it lets you keep the big, dramatic pieces without giving up real flowers where it matters most.
Thank you, Nicole
Nicole, thank you for choosing us, for your kindness from the very first meeting, and for giving me the chance to finally create inside a venue I had admired for so long. Thank you to your families as well for making us feel so welcome.
