Crystal candelabra centerpieces glowing beneath ballroom chandeliers at a New Jersey wedding, by Blooms by Lily

What we love about The Estate at Florentine Gardens

A grand welcome

The Grand Foyer, with its chandelier and French furnishings, opens into a Great Hall with soaring ceilings. Tall arrangements at the entry set the tone the moment guests walk in.

A ballroom with walls of windows

The renovated Grand Ballroom has floor-to-ceiling windows, so daylight and evening light both play across the tables. I love candelabras here, and pillar candles that glow against the glass after dark.

The gazebo and gardens

The Romanesque gazebo is a classic ceremony spot. White florals at its base and along the aisle feel timeless, and the gardens give you beautiful portraits.

Stephanie and AJ's two ceremonies

Stephanie and AJ chose all fresh flowers. Their morning began with a Nigerian traditional ceremony under a green arch with white florals, which we installed the night before, followed by a Western ceremony in the gazebo. For the reception we designed a room full of centerpieces, with two king's tables holding tall arrangements, candelabras and pillar candles, plus bud vases and candles throughout. The arch found a second life at their sweetheart table on the stage. The Florentine staff and owner were so warm to work with. See Stephanie and AJ's wedding.

Designing your flowers at The Estate at Florentine Gardens

A floral arch for the ceremony can move to your sweetheart table afterward, which is one of my favorite ways to get more from your flowers (a moving fee applies, set for each event based on your pieces). King's tables look regal with tall centerpieces, and guest tables can mix high and low pieces with bud vases. Candles pull the whole ballroom together.
