The Venetian Wedding Flowers
The Venetian in Garfield is all Italian marble, cathedral ceilings and staircases that seem to float. As a Venetian wedding florist, I find this building pure inspiration.

What we love about The Venetian
Staircases made for flowers
The Grand Ballroom has a grand staircase, and the Palazzo has two spiral staircases around a marble rotunda. Wrapping them in flowers creates an entrance your guests will talk about. White and ivory blooms look especially lovely against the marble.
Marble, gold and cathedral ceilings
Stone floors, gold crown molding and soaring ceilings call for tall, generous centerpieces. I like adding plenty of candlelight so the gold details glow warmly through the evening.
The patio garden and rock fountain
The patio garden, with its rock fountain, is a sweet place for cocktail hour or portraits. Small arrangements on the tables and a little greenery keep it relaxed. It is a nice breath of fresh air between the ceremony and the ballroom.
Here are a few moments from The Venetian: a double staircase we wrapped in white and ivory florals above a black and white marble floor, and a white altar with tall glass candle holders, alongside more of our candlelit work.

Designing your flowers at The Venetian
A floral stair wrap is the star here, starting at $1,200. For the ceremony, a white altar framed by tall glass candle holders feels classic and bright, or we can design a floral arch instead. In the ballroom, tall centerpieces rise to meet those cathedral ceilings beautifully.
Because the rooms are already so rich with marble and gold, I usually suggest a soft palette of whites, creams and blush. Let the building bring the drama and let the flowers bring the softness. If you love color, a deeper accent at the sweetheart table is a lovely way to add it.
Good to know
Can you wrap both spiral staircases?
Yes. We can design both so they mirror each other, which looks wonderful in photos.
Do our ceremony flowers have to stay at the altar?
Not at all. We can move altar pieces to your sweetheart table or cake table after the ceremony, for a moving fee that depends on the pieces and the distance.
What is the investment?
Fresh full-service weddings start at $7,500, and silk packages from $2,900. We take a 50% deposit, and you can find answers to other common questions anytime.
More venues we love
If you are exploring nearby, I also recommend Il Villaggio, Valley Regency and The Estate at Florentine Gardens. All of them are on our venue list.
